P600 Mountaineering

Guided hikes, scrambles and navigation training with Lee Campbell, Mountain Leader.

Adventures

Guided walks across the UK.

At P600 Mountaineering, we specialise in guided walks across some of the UK’s most iconic and inspiring landscapes—including Scotland, Eryri (Snowdonia), Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), and the Lake District.

In North Wales, we run regular day hikes to popular peaks such as Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Tryfan, and Cadair Idris in Eryri, as well as Pen y Fan in Bannau Brycheiniog for those seeking adventure in South Wales. But we don’t just stick to the well-trodden path —we love exploring quieter corners like the Carneddau, Rhinogs, and Moelwyns, offering a more peaceful and authentic Welsh mountain experience.

The Lake District Fells, made famous by Alfred Wainwright, are among our favourite places to roam. Whether you're aiming to summit Scafell Pike or discover lesser-known fell tops away from the crowds, we’ll help you experience the Lakes in a more personal and rewarding way.

And then there’s Scotland—the heart of UK mountaineering. From standing atop Ben Nevis, the UK’s highest peak, to soaking in the vast views from Ben Macdui in the Cairngorms, the Highlands and Islands offer endless opportunities for adventure. With 282 Munros, 222 Corbetts, and 231 Grahams to choose from, we’re truly spoiled for choice—and we’d love to help you explore them.

Training

Navigation Skills Training

Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, we offer navigation training to suit every level. From a gentle introduction to map reading and compass use, through to achieving your NNAS Silver Award, we’re here to help you grow in confidence and capability.

Our courses are practical, supportive, and designed to empower you to explore independently. They're ideal for complete beginners as well as experienced hillwalkers looking to refine their technique with more advanced navigation strategies.

If you're a trainee Mountain Leader preparing for assessment, I’d be happy to join you for a tailored skills day—focusing on the areas you want to develop most. Whether it’s micro-navigation, relocation strategies, or rope work, we’ll work together to help you feel confident and assessment-ready.

Let us help you build the skills to explore with confidence, wherever your adventures take you.

Bespoke

Bespoke Events for Private, Charity or Corporate Groups

Planning a private, charity, or corporate adventure? We’d love to help bring your vision to life.

If you have a group of two or more and want to explore the wild places of the UK, we can create a fully tailored experience to match your goals—whether you're after a quiet day in nature, a team-building challenge, or something completely unique. If one of our public events has caught your eye but you'd prefer a more personal experience, we’re happy to adapt it just for you.

We also work with a trusted network of qualified leaders across the UK, making it easy to scale up for larger group events. Whether you're organising a charity fundraiser or a corporate offsite, we’ll take care of the planning and logistics—so you can focus on the adventure, the camaraderie, and the memories.

Challenge events

Ready to push your limits?

At P600 Mountaineering, challenge is in our DNA. We thrive on pushing boundaries and helping others do the same. Whether you're chasing a personal milestone or planning a group adventure, here are just a few of the challenges we offer to inspire your next big goal:

  • The Stretton Summits Round
An 18.5-mile circular route with around 4,000 feet of ascent, taking in the iconic summits surrounding Church Stretton—Ragleth, The Long Mynd (Pole Bank), The Lawley, Caer Caradoc, and Hope Bowdler.
  • National Three Peaks
Take on the classic 24-hour challenge—or try a twist by summiting each peak via a classic scramble. Conquer Ben Nevis (Beinn Nibheis), Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), and Scafell Pike.
  • National Five Peaks
Think the Three Peaks is too easy? Add Ireland into the mix and summit Slieve Donard (Sliabh Dónairt) and Carrauntoohil (Corrán Tuathail) for a truly international adventure.
  • Welsh 3000s
Tackle all 16 Welsh summits over 3,000 feet. Complete it in 24 hours or spread it over three days—it’s your challenge, your way.
  • Scottish 4000s
The ultimate test: bag all 14 of Scotland’s highest Munros in one, two, or three days. A serious undertaking for serious adventurers.

Got your own challenge in mind? Let’s make it happen. Whether it’s a personal goal or an idea you’d like to share with fellow explorers, we’re always up for something new. We can even add your challenge to our public calendar so others can join in the adventure.

Let’s start planning something unforgettable.
